xF1 Add-on XenForo Media Gallery 1.x - 1.1.18

• Change so that unsharp masking is not allowed to happen with some image resize operations.
• Fix for an issue that could have seen invalid values entered as a thumbnail path for a media site.
• Catch Exceptions that may be thrown as a result of media site thumbnail generation failing.
• Ensure GALLERY BB code limits are enforced in conversations.

XenForo Media Gallery 1.1.6 is a maintenance release for our media gallery add-on. We recommend all customers running XenForo Media Gallery to upgrade to 1.1.6 to benefit from increased stability.

This release fixes several bugs that were reported following the release of XenForo Media Gallery 1.1.5:

• Added a new option to control the thumbnail quality of JPG thumbnails.
• Added a new unsharp mask filter to the thumbnail process to make thumbnails appear sharper.
• The cached thumbnail URL is no longer used for album thumbnails therefore changes made to the XF data directory take effect immediately.
• Prevented a situation where a video embed could be updated to an invalid URL.
• Improved some of the custom field display styling on the media view.
• Implemented spam checking on Gallery comments. Gallery comments are therefore now checked against Spam Phrases and Akismet (where enabled).
• Prevent a 'Serialized value contains an object and this is not allowed' error when a moderator performs actions on some album related content.
• Fixed missing rating count icon on thumbnails in "New Media"
• Workaround for an 'Uncaught TypeError' in the Gallery lightbox when a media title comprises only of numbers.

XenForo Media Gallery 1.1.5 is a maintenance release for our media gallery add-on. We recommend all customers running XenForo Media Gallery to upgrade to 1.1.5 to benefit from increased stability.

In addition to the usual bug and stability focus we have added beta support for importing from the IP Gallery versions which were designed to work with IP Board 4.0 and IP Board 4.1.

This release fixes several bugs that were reported following the release of XenForo Media Gallery 1.1.4:

• A new option has been added to allow you to disable the ability to upload images from a URL. Disable this to prevent your server IP address being identified through use of this feature. (Alternatively, XenForo 1.5.6's untrusted HTTP client configuration is now supported.)
• Fix for category notice criteria not being evaluated while viewing a media item.
• Fixed an issue that would cause an 'Invalid argument supplied for foreach()' error relating to images which had been face-tagged.
• Prevent a 'Serialized value contains an object and this is not allowed' error when a moderator deletes a comment with an alert.
• Only show the Gallery Statistics block and various other elements if the user has permission to view them.
• Change to allow moderated media items to show in the media list if the user has permission to view them.
• When uploading, disable the Save Media button until the upload is complete.
• Fix for the vBulletin 4.x albums importer not confirming the correct file path when attachments are stored in the file system.
• Prevent videos being uploaded if they may contain suspicious content.
• Merge the various gallery fields in the xf_user table when merging users.
• Replaced the now unsupported ReviewAggregate data-vocabulary.org structured data with schema.org for media and album ratings.

Upgrading

1. First, log in to the Customer Area and download the latest version of XenForo Media Gallery.
2. It is important that the files on the server and what you're uploading are "merged". Otherwise you may break your XenForo installation.
   Use your FTP client to connect to your server and navigate to the directory where you installed XenForo. Unzip the file you downloaded in step 1 and upload the contents of theuploaddirectory into the directory where you installed XenForo. You should ensure that files are overwritten.
3. Log in to your XenForo admin control panel, and selectList Add-onsfrom the left. Under theControlsdrop-down for XenForo Media Gallery, selectUpgrade. InUpgrade from file on server, enter library/XenGallery/addon-XenGallery.xml and submit the form.

After the caches rebuild, the XenForo Media Gallery upgrade will be complete.
