xF1 Add-on New User Conversation 2.2

This add-on is for older versions of XenForo.

If you have XenForo v1.5x or newer, follow this to enable a New User Welcome.

Admin Control Panel -> Options -> User Registration -> New User Welcome

Description:

Sends a Conversation message welcoming a new user to your forum.

(Example of Options page)


Features:
  • New Conversation is sent only after the registration is approved.
  • Message can include BB Codes, Smilies and {username}.
  • Option to "Lock" conversation so no replies can be made.
  • Option to "Leave Conversation" by sender.
Installation:
  1. Download newuserconversation_v2.2.zip and unzip it.
  2. Upload the Andy folder to your server. The correct location will be library/Andy.
  3. From your Admin Control Panel, go to the "Install Add-on" page.
  4. Upload the addon-NewUserConversation_v2.2.xml file.
  5. Click the Install Add-on button.
Table:
  • A database table called xf_new_user_conversation is created.
