Description:

Sends email to staff members when there's a new registration.

This add-on is typically used on forums which have new user registration moderation and allows the admin to gain additional information to help identify spam registrations.

Features:
  • Emails sent to staff members immediately after completion of registration.
  • Email shows location based on IP address.
  • Email includes link to whatismyipaddress for blacklist check.
  • Email shows custom user fields filled in during registration.
  • All phrases start with registeremail_ for your convenience.
Installation:
  1. Download Andy-RegisterEmail-1.6.zip and unzip it.
  2. Copy the src/addons/Andy/RegisterEmail directory to your server.
  3. From the Admin Control Panel Install the add-on.
Questions & Answers:

Q: What type of Custom User Fields are supported?
A: Text box and text area only.

Q: Is an email sent if a user registers with Facebook, Google or Twitter?
A: No.
